My journey into wellness wasn’t by chance, it was by necessity...
I spent years trying to fix my health through isolated approaches: a new diet here, a new PT there, a retreat when everything felt overwhelming…but nothing truly changed. Every solution felt temporary - a high followed by the same old patterns. I didn’t need more information. I didn’t need more willpower.
I needed integration - someone looking at the whole picture, not the
pieces...and it hit me.
If I couldn’t find that level of joined-up care anywhere… my clients wouldn’t either. So I built Chloe Louise Wellbeing...

PETER'S TRANSFORMATION
From Pre-Diabetes, Now Moving Towards Normal Blood Sugar
When this Patient came to us, his blood sugar was climbing fast, despite being on Metformin. His HbA1c (a key diabetes marker) had risen significantly and he was starting to experience tingling, fatigue, and digestive problems. He also struggled with high blood pressure, fatigue and nutrient deficiencies (likely) caused by medication.
By focusing on his root causes (balancing blood sugar, supporting digestion and supporting the liver), we helped him make simple but powerful changes to his diet and supplements.
Root Causes Identified
By combining his blood work with his symptoms, we uncovered the following:
• A diet too high in refined carbs and gluten, and too low in protein, especially in the morning.
• Nutrient deficiencies (B12, magnesium, folate) partly caused by long-term medication use.
• Poor digestion and low stomach acid, reducing nutrient absorption and driving reflux.
• Inflammation and liver stress, further disrupting blood sugar and cardiovascular health.
Our Approach
Together we worked on three key areas:
1. Supporting digestion: restoring natural stomach acid and digestive enzyme support, which not only reduced reflux but improved nutrient absorption and energy.
2. Balancing blood sugar: shifting to higher-protein, lower-carb meals and cutting back alcohol.
3. Reducing inflammation and supporting liver detox: through targeted nutrients and lifestyle changes to relieve liver stress and cardiovascular risk.
The Results in 4 Weeks:
• HbA1c dropped to 41 (back in the normal range - lowest in years!)
• Now discussing with his diabetic nurse whether he can reduce Metformin
• Liver health showing improvements in updated blood work
• Cut alcohol intake by more than 50%
• Long-term changes in food choices: more protein, less sugar, healthier swaps
This case proves that even with a strong family history of diabetes/genetic predispositions, it’s possible to turn things around with the right support.
